Renewal Church

Christ the Rock Church was founded in 1983, the first multi-ethnic church in Memphis. Almost as hard a feat to establish a multi-ethnic church in the South is the ability for it to last for over 30 years. So when the church decided it was time to implement a renewed vision, they decided a great way to do so was to change their name and visuals. Renewal – the new name – had to reflect the diversity, orthodoxy, and modern context of the church. We decided to reflect these three primary differentiators with a stylized stained glass mark containing a wide color palette and paired with modern sans-serif typefaces. With the new vision, all new collateral, signage, photography, and a web refresh were in order. The new look more accurately represents the renewed vision of the church.
